Role Summary
* In this role, you will develop and implement tactical and strategic action plans for profit and loss for one store. You will open and close the store, manage inventory and stockroom operations, process customer orders and returns, maintain visual and floor standards, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while performing daily cash control and store maintenance tasks. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* A High School Diploma or GED.
* A minimum of 4 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A minimum of 3 years of sales experience or customer service.
* Strong knowledge in common business applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Open and close the store.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service.
* Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
* Respond to emails and communications from customers and stakeholders.
* Process POS (point of sale) purchases.
* Handle returns of merchandise.
* Process freight and inter-store transfers for spandowns.
* Maintain an organized stockroom and store inventory preparation.
* Prepare and process store orders for customers.
* Coordinate store maintenance activities.
* Implement floor sets and maintain visual standards.
* Initiate specialized sales events.
* Prepare and execute annual store inventory. Physical Requirements
* Able to
* Safely lift boxes up to 35 lbs.
* Stand and move about for extended periods with only short rest breaks.
* Reach, bend, stoop, and perform other movements to handle products.
