Position Summary The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue generation and achieve sales targets for the Journify platform and its various products (including but not limited to travel services, lifestyle products, and experiences). This role requires a strategic sales leader with a strong understanding of direct sales, partnership development, account management, and the ability to leverage spaneting initiatives to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate will be target-driven, possess excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, and align closely with the collaborative spirit and strategic focus emphasized within MAG. This role will also involve collaborating with the spaneting team to ensure sales efforts are supported by effective spaneting materials and campaigns.
Key Accountability- Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for Journify and its product offerings across various customer segments.
- Lead direct sales efforts to key accounts, including corporate clients, travel agencies, and other relevant partners.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to maximise revenue and identify upselling opportunities.
- Establish and cultivate strategic partnerships with external organizations to expand Journifys reach and sales channels.
- Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets, monitor performance closely, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients and partners, effectively communicating the value proposition of Journify products.
- Lead negotiation processes and effectively close sales deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Work closely with the spaneting team to provide feedback on spaneting materials, contribute to campaign development, and ensure sales efforts are effectively supported by spaneting initiatives. This includes leveraging spaneting collateral, participating in joint sales and spaneting campaigns, and providing insights on customer needs to inform spaneting strategies.
- Track and analyse sales performance metrics (KPIs), identify trends, and provide regular sales reports to senior management.
- Utilise CRM systems to manage sales pipelines, track customer interactions, and ensure efficient sales processes.
- Stay informed about spanet trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment and effective product delivery.
Qualification & Working Experience- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
