Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detailed, and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, taking ownership of customer issues and finding a resolution, and providing exceptional customer relationships.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Provide feedback to commercial and spaneting teams.
  • Prepare estimates and turn quotes into Orders (Capture Business) – substantial focus on capturing business with our customers; if not obtained, what was the competitive situation and why business wasn’t captured by Kawneer (Specific monthly targets must be achieved).
  • Act as a customer advocate – present data and make recommendations as to course of action to business leaders and act within defined decision-making authority to drive Ease of Doing Business with Kawneer.
  • Provide support and anchor with internal employees to negotiate competitive pricing, quality, delivery and lead-time with customers.
  • Work in a tactical administrative team environment from focused problem solving to customer care and support throughout any given day – admin activities to problem solving/decision making.
  • Collaborate across departmental boundaries to satisfy customer inquiries.
  • Manage issues outside the traditional bounds of responsibility when required to satisfy a customer or business objective.
  • Manage day-to-day activities and execution of our customer connection – follow up on and review material proposals and provide accurate quoting and lead times to Kawneer customers; being proactive when dealing with the customer and heading off issues before they arise; asking for orders; thanking the customer for their business. Meeting quoting and status response time objectives.

  • Ability to provide exceptional service and support to customers, addressing their needs and resolving issues.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve customer issues and improve processes where needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with others, share knowledge, and contribute to team goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of motivation and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Travel: 5

You have: (required)

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, project estimating, or related construction field
  • Ability to travel
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Exceptional Candidates also have: (preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience in inside sales or similar role.
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Experience with KaluCAD, JDE and other pricing tools.

Work Setting & Location:

  • This position will operate in person in a professional office environment in Springdale, AR

  • Monday – Friday
