Job Title: Aircraft Structure Lay-Up TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin our team to construct aircraft structural parts by laying-up resin-infused carbon fiber in a sequence prior to processing in an autoclave. This role involves working with engineering drawings and company specifications to ensure quality and integrity.
Responsibilities- Adhere to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints, and work orders.
- Document materials used in the process to maintain traceability, including out times of cold-stored materials.
- Build structural components via vacuum bagging using resin systems with carbon fiber reinforcements.
- Identify and communicate defects in tooling effectively.
- Meet takt times while maintaining the specified level of quality.
- Safely handle various regulated materials used in the process.
- Carefully handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure integrity and quality are not compromised.
- Protect and maintain the confidentiality of products.
- Adapt to changing business conditions and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills- Ability to read and follow engineering blueprints.
- Proficiency in operating and comprehending data using Windows Operating System®, MRP M3, Royal 5, and SmarTeam.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Completion of an introductory period for internal applicants.
- Non-entry level experience is required.

Work EnvironmentThe role offers flexible employment status, potentially part-time, full-time, or temporary. While some minor traveling and irregular hours may be required, the position does not require personal protective equipment or medical monitoring. The opportunity may also require relocation to another facility.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
