Role Summary
The Workday Project Manager leads planning and delivery of Workday projects, enhancements and releases, including M&A initiatives, partnering with HR product owners and stakeholders. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and change for initiatives such as module implementations/enhancements, integration builds, tenant strategy, and bi-annual releases. You’ll ensure secure, compliant execution while driving adoption, data quality, and measurable business outcomes for all HCM products - Employee Lifecycle, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll and Security.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain project charters, business cases, scope, WBS, resource plans, budgets, and RAID logs
- Set stage gates and governance cadence aligning with HR COEs, Regional HR, Cybersecurity, DT, and Corporate Development teams on milestones
- Establish success metrics, acceptance criteria, and change control for business outcomes improvements and M&A initiatives.
- Run status reviews and leadership readouts with clear decisions, risks, and value tracking
- Act as an agile coach to the team to ensure successful implementation of Workday project
- Manage risks, issues, and cross-product dependencies; drive mitigation, escalation, and decision-ready options
- Lead day-to-day execution across configurations, testing, and integrations partnering with HR stakeholders, DT and supplier teams aligning to releases
- Coordinate tenant strategy (sandbox/preview/production/implementation), cutover, and hypercare; plan M&A-specific cutovers (Day 1 vs. Day 2)
- Ensure data privacy, and compliance (SOC, SOX); apply data segregation and export controls
- Manage supplier partners and M&A diligence vendors; define SOWs, SLAs, and quality gates
- Define and execute test strategies (unit, SIT, UAT, regression); include Day 1/Day 2 role-based security and access testing
- Partner on change management, comms, training, and localization; ensure TSA entry/exit plans and knowledge transfer
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Additional Information for Candidates in US:
The base pay range for this position is $112,000-$186,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on January 22nd, 2026.
