ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in Italy, reporting to the CEO of CCM. This is a hybrid/onsite role designed to support both operational HR and payroll activities at the local level. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring accurate payroll coordination with our external vendor and offer day-to-day HR support to employees onsite. You’ll work closely with local and regional HR colleagues, finance, and external partners.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Payroll & HR Administration
- Liaise with external payroll provider to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing
- Validate payroll data including hours worked, absences, bonuses, and deductions
- Maintain employee records and timekeeping data
- Ensure payroll compliance with Italian labor legislation
- Collaborate with Finance on payroll reconciliation and reporting
Onsite HR Support
- Manage local HR document archiving and compliance
- Prepare and issue employment-related documentation
- Collect signatures and distribute documents as needed
- Be the first point of contact for employee queries, fostering positive employee relations
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Contribute to local HR initiatives and projects
General HR Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and compliant HR files
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and internal controls
- Support HR audits and reporting requirements
- Partner with EMEA HR colleagues to align processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, with a strong focus on Italian payroll processing
- Solid understanding of Italian labor law and payroll compliance
- Experience working with external payroll providers such as Zucchetti or ADP
- Proficient in HRIS tools such as Workday, Oracle, or SAP SuccessFactors
- Fluent in Italian and English (mandatory)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Previous experience in an international or matrixed organization
- Familiarity with digital document management systems
- Experience supporting HR projects across EMEA or multiple locations
