The SIOP Manager will lead the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to align customer demand, production capabilities, and inventory strategies. The SIOP Manager will oversee a team of Master Schedulers, Demand Planners, and Capacity Planners, ensuring effective collaboration to optimize resources, achieve production targets, and maintain service levels.This role is both strategic and tactical - responsible for leading executive SIOP meetings, improving on-time delivery, managing material shortages, and implementing standardized planning processes. The incumbent will provide leadership across planning disciplines, ensure consistent reporting, and drive decision-making through actionable insights and KPIs.Key Duties and Responsibilities:• Own and lead the monthly SIOP process, facilitating alignment across sales, supply chain, finance, and production functions.• Manage and develop a high-performing planning team, including demand, capacity, and master scheduling personnel.• Lead strategies to improve on-time delivery, reduce material shortages, and optimize production flow.• Conduct emergency SIOP cadence as needed to handle sudden changes in demand or supply, mitigating risk and supporting on-time delivery performance.• Oversee the creation and execution of master production schedules based on forecasted demand and resource availability.• Ensure accurate and timely capacity planning and constraint analysis to support operational goals.• Monitor and communicate performance using dashboards and BI-driven operational scorecards.• Partner with stakeholders to align demand forecasts with supply strategies and ensure business continuity.• Drive continuous improvement projects to streamline planning workflows, improve data accuracy, and increase forecast reliability.• Resolve cross-functional conflicts between demand and supply while balancing customer service, cost, and inventory.Requirements:• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably managing SIOP, planning, or scheduling teams.• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFS) and BI/reporting tools.• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project).• Demonstrated success in production planning, SIOP implementation, and cross-functional leadership.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across levels and functions.• A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive performance and change in dynamic environments.
