About the role:
We are currently recruiting for Performance Control Manager, QR.08 within Ground Services in Doha.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support in Ground Services for Regional Manager Airport Services to enable them to continue manage an increasing number of stations effectively. They would also play a leadership role in ensuring that Ground Services operates in accordance with operational best practices, and in compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures, government regulations and any partnership agreements.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Establish and implement performance monitoring framework and provide support to Ground Services stakeholders to ensure their on-going ability to deliver set operational objectives.
- Collaborate with the SMPAP/RMNS to evaluate the operational performance strategies, provide technical input and advice to drive performance improvement and achievement of set operational objectives (KPI/SPI).
- Provide operational support (on request) to SMPAP, SMHO, SMBO and RMNS and collaborate with other GS stakeholders in conducting safety investigations and process enhancement initiatives.
- Monitor and follow-up on operational performance trends and propose performance improvement plans (PIP) for underperforming stations to ensure appropriate and timely performance recovery.
- Support RMNS, RASM’s and Network Support ASM in planning new station start up, GHA change or airport moves.
- Provide oversight of performance by conducting regular reviews of stations performance to ensure that operational activities are implemented in line with organizational standards and best practices and appraise the SMPAP/RMNS by providing an executive summary and proposing recommendations for operational performance improvement as applicable.
- Provide pre and post audit support to the Airport Services Managers and liaise with GS Quality and Compliance for ongoing compliance management support.
- Review submitted operational reports for accuracy, quality of information and relevance to identified performance gaps and propose remediation actions to address the performance deficiencies.
- Manage system queues for Service Failures (SFL) and Compliance Non-Conformities (NC’s) to ensure timely review and closure.
- Research best practices in performance control and provide recommendations to SMPAP for a tailored operational performance control system.
