The Boeing Company seeks a Multi-Skill Senior Manager to join our Phantom Works Space Technologies team in El Segundo, CA.
This dynamic and visionary candidate will lead a multi-discipline team of electrical, electronic and systems engineers in all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements, design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments to spearhead the design and development of cutting-edge autonomous technologies and mission systems.

Position Responsibilities
As a leader in this role, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:
Responsible for managing, developing, motivating and retaining electrical, electronic and systems engineering resources for space technologies.
Maintain appropriate staffing experience level and resource quantity to meet requirements, current and forecast including clearances and new skills to support programs.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners, and provide oversight of technical approaches, products, and processes.
Facilitate collaboration across teams, manage talent development, and ensure employees gave necessary tools and processes to perform their jobs effectively
Provide technical guidance, issue resolution, and professional growth opportunities, enabling employees to excel in their roles
Leverage standard performance metrics (implementation and reporting) for program use to identify issues and be proactive to mitigate risks.
Must be able to solve complex problems, work multiple tasks simultaneously, and be familiar with managing development projects and industry equivalent practices.
Provide performance and progress to the PW Leadership Team and BDS PW Engineering.
Manage employees’ priorities and performance evaluations.
Ability for limited travel
This position requires an active Top Secret clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Science, Technology, Engineering, and / or Mathematics
5+ years of experience in project leadership roles
5+ years of experience in space technologies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with satellite systems: bus, payload, GNC, ground, etc.
Familiarity with satellite applications for DoD and USG customers
Familiarity with staffing skill needs to support space technology roadmaps, maturation and transition
Ability to operate in a quick-paced staffing demand environment
Experience in successfully managing and being part of a complex IPT to produce results within budget, on schedule, and to performance requirements
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) processes, project management, and risk/issue/opportunity management
Experience with proposal development
People management experience
Experience with multi-program/organization collaboration experience
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance post-start
