Position Summary To lead, plan, manage and provide expert technical support in the areas of Cabin Interiors and Aircraft Systems across Malaysia Airlines fleet. This includes ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, overseeing modifications and design changes, and supporting operational reliability and cost efficiency.
Key Accountability- Lead and deliver service engineering support in Cabin Interiors and Aircraft Systems under assigned ATA chapters, ensuring high technical dispatch reliability across the fleet.
- Manage and lead cabin reconfiguration projects (e.g., seating, IFE) involving minor or major changes.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions based on quality and compliance audits.
- Maintain a competent and trained engineering team, aligned with current methodologies and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the technical focal point liaising with regulatory bodies, OEMs, MROs, vendors, and internal departments on matters related to Cabin Interiors and Systems.
- Execute any other assignments delegated by the Senior Manager of Technical Services.
Qualification & Working Experience- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent from recognized institutions.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Technical Services.
Skills & Knowledge- In-depth technical knowledge of aircraft cabin interiors and systems, including maintenance and operational impacts
- Strong communication, presentation, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in preparing business case proposals and technical papers for management
