Role title
Digital Integration & AMOS Manager
Your role
As a Digital Integration & AMOS Manager, you will be primarily responsible for leading the AMOS team in driving digital integration initiatives across CAMO, Part-145, and Supply Chain functions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Our Maintenance & Engineering Department helps us to drive Aer Lingus’ ambition by ensuring our fleet operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Your responsibilities as a Digital Integration & AMOS Manager will include:
- Implement AMOS-by-Design Best Practices: Roll out industry-standard AMOS practices to streamline and optimize maintenance operations.
- Align AMOS with Business Needs: Understand business requirements and adapt AMOS processes to support redefined internal workflows.
- Drive Digital Transformation: Support key digital initiatives such as AMOS mobile, e-signatures, and the electronic Technical Log Book.
- Establish the AMOS Competency Centre: Promote adoption, training, and process ownership across all M&E functions.
- Lead Cross-Functional Digital Projects: Manage large-scale implementations across CAMO, Part-145, and Supply Chain, engaging over 400 stakeholders.
- Engage with Group OpCos for Synergies: Actively collaborate across Group airlines to align strategies and leverage common solutions.
- Deliver Documentation and Training: Provide comprehensive AMOS and Flydocs procedures and user documentation.
- Oversee AMOS Admin and Data Support: Ensure reliable delivery of administrative functions and support all AMOS-related data initiatives.
- Develop Change Management Strategies: Facilitate adoption of new technologies and processes, addressing resistance and promoting a digital mindset.
- Ensure Governance and Quality Assurance: Oversee risk management, audit support, and ensure alignment with IT and data strategies.
Your qualifications and key criteria
We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:
- Aeronautical, Mathematical or IT Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within an aviation maintenance / engineering environment.
- Proven ability to develop and solve complex business problems using Management. Science/Operations Research techniques.
- Proven ability to deal with change management.
- Experience in leading and managing teams.
- Excellent I.T. skills, with a focus on digital tools and platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills combined with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work unsupervised, using high level of data and digital knowledge to provide independent, innovative and reliable system support.
- Strong administration and organisational skills, with the proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Passionate about new technologies.
- Strong working knowledge of AMOS and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Eligible to live and work in the EU.
- Current unrestricted worldwide passport.
- Provide three verifiable references.
- Able to pass a five year security background check as this role is based in Dublin.
