As a Test Technician II in the Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit, you’ll be integral to our collaborative, cross-functional teams that are committed to innovation, integrity, and strong execution. In this role, you will conduct and support performance and functional tests on flight hardware, including electronic boards, antennas, and subsystems, during all phases of the hardware evolution process. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all systems meet performance standards, contributing to mission success.

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct and support performance and functional tests on flight hardware, including electronic boards, antennas, and subsystems, during all phases of the hardware evolution process.
- Execute step-by-step test procedures, recording and verifying test data, and reporting out-of-tolerance conditions.
- Perform and assist in functional tests and monitor environmental testing parameters during Thermal, Vibration, EMI, and Acoustics testing.
- Provide technical support to the team during various shifts and critical schedules, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Troubleshoot issues related to product functionality and design, serving as a resource for resolving complex problems.
- Document specialized test setup configurations to ensure consistent and repeatable results.
- Apply hands-on skills with mechanical tooling, jigs, and fixtures to construct test setups and support electrical, cryogenics, and electro-optical test setups.
- Deliver work with attention to cost, schedule, and the consideration of reusability and producibility.
- Provide direction and support to less experienced employees.
- Support IRAD development of assemblies and sub-assemblies, including proof of concept protocols, in consultation with team members.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
