Position Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:  Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as injection molding machines, mold heaters, sprue pickers, conveyors, dryers, grinders, and loaders.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance to injection molding machines.
• Repair auxiliary equipment such as mold heaters, material dryers, sprue pickers, dryers, loaders, grinders and parts conveyors by dismantling, cleaning and replacing worn or defective parts and assemblies.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove and replace any defective parts.
• May be required to research part availability and initiates purchase order for needed repair parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on all equipment related to Injection Molding.    
• Perform building maintenance as required.
• Support continuous improvement through LEAN and HPT.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES:

Education and Experience:                                      

1. High School Diploma/GED is required. 
2. Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
3. Four to six years related experience required
4. Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, basic electrical, and PLC logic is preferred.
5. Injection molding industry experience preferred.
6. Strong communications and troubleshooting skills.

Conditions of Employment

This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements. Proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status is required.  

Conditions of Employment

The expected base salary range for this position is $25.75 – $38.75 per year.

The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, and internal equity.This position is also eligible for incentive compensation.We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and more.
