For the Inspector III role, Our client is seeking a highly experienced Aircraft Inspector to join their team in Goodyear, AZ. This role is ideal for a seasoned A&P-licensed professional with a strong background in heavy maintenance, modifications, and return-to-service inspections. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in aircraft inspection, an unwavering commitment to FAA compliance, and a sharp eye for detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
&x2022;&x9;Perform detailed inspections during heavy maintenance, modifications, and pre-/post-flight operations.
&x2022;&x9;Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, internal processes, and customer specifications.
&x2022;&x9;Review, complete, and sign off aircraft maintenance documents, logbooks, and forms.
&x2022;&x9;Identify discrepancies and ensure they are properly documented and resolved.
&x2022;&x9;Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure accurate and timely corrections.
&x2022;&x9;Conduct return-to-service (RTS) inspections as required.
&x2022;&x9;Verify proper installation and function of parts and systems post-maintenance.
&x2022;&x9;Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment.
Requirements Requirements:
7-9 years of heavy 747 experience as well as inspection experience.
&x2022;&x9;Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (Required)
&x2022;&x9;Minimum 10 years of aircraft maintenance and inspection experience
&x2022;&x9;Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, maintenance procedures, and inspection protocols
&x2022;&x9;Experience on transport category aircraft (e.g., Boeing, Airbus) preferred
&x2022;&x9;Familiar with maintenance tracking systems, documentation, and digital records
&x2022;&x9;Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics
&x2022;&x9;Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
&x2022;&x9;Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
&x2022;&x9;Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts as needed
