What are your contributions to the team?
- Support Supply Chain business partners on cost reduction initiatives, contract negotiations, and monthly governance.
- Review and approve negotiation strategies and contract proposals.
- Support indirect cost reduction initiatives (IGS) in alignment with strategic objectives (e.g., transportation).
- Support and collaborate with Logistics teams on store inventory management and 3PL management.
- Work closely with business partners, the Logistics team, the Procurement team, and various Finance groups.
- Analyze and recommend appropriate accounting treatment for different contractual agreements and update financial best practice guidelines.
- Coordinate financial planning activities with other teams, including the PAP process, and prepare financial presentations for leadership.
- Maintain effective internal controls.
- Supervise five financial analysts.
- Support, plan, and coordinate the month end and quarter end processes.
- Coordinate and plan quarterly forecasts and the budgeting process.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Lead and manage special projects.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a bachelors degree in accounting or finance and have 7 years of relevant experience.
- You hold a CPA designation or equivalent experience.
- You have an interest in improving and developing business processes.
- You demonstrate good judgment and strong analytical skills.
- You are autonomous, innovative, and show leadership.
- You adapt well to a constantly changing environment.
- You have strong business acumen.
- You demonstrate good teamwork skills.
- You are bilingual, both spoken and written.
- You have strong knowledge of MS Office software.
- Knowledge of Power BI and SAP is an asset.
