Role Summary
* In this role, you will apply interdisciplinary systems engineering principles to plan, design, develop, and verify complex weapon systems that support critical Direct Attack missions. You will work across multiple engineering disciplines to define system requirements, integrate interfaces, and ensure system solutions meet operational, safety, reliability, and mission success objectives. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* A minimum of 9 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
* Experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering tools such as CAMEO or other SysML-compatible systems modeling tools.
* Experience and domain knowledge in system architecture, requirements definition, interface definition, verification, and validation.
* Regular and predictable attendance.
* Successful completion of required training, including on-the-job or formal classroom training. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Apply an interdisciplinary and collaborative systems engineering approach across the full system life cycle.
* Plan, design, develop, and verify balanced system-of-systems and system solutions that satisfy customer and operational needs.
* Define system performance requirements and integrate technical parameters across physical, functional, and program interfaces.
* Ensure compatibility of all system interfaces to optimize overall system architecture.
* Perform affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance analyses.
* Support system architecture decisions to achieve preferred configurations and ensure mission success.
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams supporting Direct Attack weapon systems, including JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC, and derivative programs.
