Tasks

Electronics are changing rapidly - and you keep an overview. During your internship, you will analyze component discontinuations and help set up a strategic and proactive obsolescence management system. In this way, you will secure the future of our in-flight entertainment systems.

  • Record component discontinuations from suppliers and initiate measures
  • Carry out risk analysis in relation to obsolescence for new devices
  • Ensure monitoring of existing devices with the help of innovative software
  • Help shape strategic - proactive obsolescence management

Requirements

You are enrolled for the entire duration of the internship or are completing a Gap Year between your Bachelors and Masters degree program

  • You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
  • Enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelors and Masters degree program (Gap Year)
  • You have a basic technical understanding of electronic components
  • You have good analytical skills and a talent for strategic thinking
  • You are good at using MS Office, especially Excel and Word
  • You have very good language skills in German and English (written and spoken)
