Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated early-career Engineer or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our engineering team through a structured rotational development program. This position is designed to provide broad exposure to multiple engineering disciplines and aircraft development functions during the first two years of employment. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and technical specialists, the successful candidate will contribute to new and derivative aircraft design activities while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills across several departments before transitioning into a dedicated functional role. Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting aircraft design, development, modification, and certification activities Assisting senior engineers with technical analyses, calculations, and engineering documentation Participating in design reviews, engineering investigations, and problem-solving activities Supporting the preparation and review of engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and test documentation Assisting with validation and verification activities, including laboratory, ground, and flight test support Coordinating with cross-functional teams including structures, systems, avionics, manufacturing, supply chain, and certification groups Supporting configuration management and change incorporation activities Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering process development Ensuring work is completed in accordance with applicable engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures Competencies and QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited universityEligibility for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or equivalent professional designationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentDemonstrated initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learnInterest in aerospace engineering and aircraft developmentAbility to work under pressure with uncertain outcomes Success FactorsDedicated to promoting an effective, innovative, and collaborative team environment that fosters engagement and enthusiasm across Canada Demonstrates professionalism and pride in the company, its leadership, and its products, while maintaining a customer-focused mindset in all interactions and decisions Able to execute assigned tasks under guidance with clearly defined requirements, constraints, and expectations Delivers work to expectations while appropriately managing scope and priorities Actively pursues personal development and growth aligned with career objectives, maintains an effective development plan, and engages in ongoing feedback discussionsDemonstrates adaptability and a willingness to learn while working across diverse technical teams and engineering disciplines
