Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional engineering efforts as the IPT Lead for CWL hardware development
Coordinate design, procurement, integration, and production of Engineering Development Models (EDMs)
Serve as the technical point of contact between engineering teams and Navy customer stakeholders
Create, review, and maintain system-level hardware design documentation, including Hardware Configuration Item (HWCI) specifications
Allocate test requirements and methods across Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT)
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues encountered during integration, lab testing, and field deployments
Present technical findings, trade-offs, and design updates to program management and customer representatives
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering);OR a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
5+ years of technical experience in hardware/system engineering roles
Previous IPT Lead experience on defense-related programs
Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with U.S. Navy product development processes and shipboard qualification
Experience with System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) processes
Hands-on experience in digital and/or analog electronics design, development, and troubleshooting
Experience with hardware/software integration testing, including Assembly Level, Unit, and System Performance Testing
Agile methodology experience preferred
Ability to travel to support integration and test efforts as needed
