We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Avionics Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small-town environment with a close-knit, family-oriented team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in avionics systems, especially in piston aircraft, and will be responsible for the installation, modification, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a variety of avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and modify avionics equipment on various aircraft
- Fabricate wiring harnesses according to specifications
- Install and integrate autopilot systems
- Conduct testing, calibration, and software updates on avionics components
- Troubleshoot and repair avionics systems and components
- Perform inspections in accordance with FAR 91.411 and FAR 91.413
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Avionics Technician
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with piston aircraft
- Experience with Garmin avionics systems is a strong plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
