Schedule: 10-hour shifts (including some weekends). The schedule amounts to 37.5 hours per week, with a variable distribution depending on the weeks.
Office presence: Hybrid remote work position. Office located at 5959 Côte-Vertu, Dorval.
Position status: Temporary, full-time
Under the responsability of the Manager, Crew Planning, the senior planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the schedules of pilots and flight attendants while ensuring compliance with collective agreements and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Optimize pairings in accordance with collective agreements and Canadian Aviation Regulations based on schedule provided by Network Planning
- Optimize rosters in accordance with collective agreements and Canadian Aviation Regulations
- Coordinate with Crew Sched, FormPN, Flight Ops, Hours and Credits, In-Flight, and other departments to resolve any crew related issues
- Resolve any Crew Planning discrepancies
- Ensure proper application of collective agreements and Canadian aviation regulations
- Assist in the implementation and development of the Jeppesen system.
- Any other related tasks

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
