Be the Final Gatekeeper of Aerospace QualityPDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a Product Acceptance Specialist who is passionate about quality, compliance, and precision. In this critical role, you will verify that aircraft maintenance and products meet strict design, regulatory, and customer requirements—helping ensure safety, reliability, and airworthiness before delivery.
What You’ll Do Day to DayAs a Product Acceptance Specialist, you will perform inspections and verifications across aircraft maintenance activities while providing objective evidence of compliance. Your responsibilities will include:
Verifying product and maintenance work conformance to design and engineering requirements
Validating work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures
Performing in-process inspections of aircraft maintenance activities
Identifying, documenting, and controlling non-conforming items
Conducting preliminary review and disposition of non-conformances
Participating in product and process verification reviews with customers
Identifying repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiating corrective action requests
Using approved technical specifications, manuals, drawings, engineering instructions, FAA forms, and publications
Ensuring compliance with FAA-approved/accepted documents, including engineering drawings, CMMs, and service bulletins
Verifying standard practices such as torque, bonding, safety wiring, and sealing
Ensuring all installed parts are new or serviceable and properly documented (FAA Form 8130-3 or equivalent)
Maintaining proficiency with inspection aids and precision measuring tools
Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED with typically 4 or more years of related experience
Familiarity with Aircraft Repair Station operations
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Proficiency using precision measuring tools
Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $37.49 per hour
